GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ordering Wood Tailors Club’s products implies your agreement to comply with the following terms and conditions:

  • The current price list supersedes all previously published versions.
  • Prices are stated per unit.
  • VAT is not included in the prices and will be added if applicable.
  • Each piece is handcrafted in Portugal, so natural variations such as small knots, stripes, color differences, and marked or faint wood-grain rings are considered authentic characteristics, not defects or deficiencies. Slight differences may occur between pieces.

PACKING AND SHIPPING

  • Packing is always included in the price. We carefully assess each piece’s order specifications and arrange special packing if necessary. As with our pieces, the packing materials are selected to ensure the safest possible arrival of your order. 
  • Transportation costs and insurance are not included in the price. 
  • If the client chooses to arrange transportation independently,  Wood Tailors Club bears no responsibility for any issues arising from such transportation. 
  • Wood Tailors Club reserves the right to charge an additional 20% of the transport value for each rescheduling of transport made less than 3 days before the scheduled dispatch date.
  • Upon receiving your order, please inspect the packaging and materials for any visible damage. Any damage to the pieces must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order. Photographic evidence of the damage should be sent to customer@emotionalbrands.com.pt. 
  • If the complaint is validated by Wood Tailors Club, the affected piece will be replaced, repaired, or exchanged at a time agreed upon with the customer.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Production begins only after receipt of a minimum of 50% of the total amount. The remaining balance must be transferred at least 3 days before shipping the pieces. 
  • All pieces remain the property of  Wood Tailors Club until full payment is received and confirmed.

LEAD TIMES

  • The production lead time is estimated at 10 to 12 working weeks. Delivery is not included in this timeframe. 
  • Lead time begins once  Wood Tailors Club receives at least 50% of the total payment and the signed Finishes Sheet from the client. 
  • For orders involving COM/COL products, lead time only begins after the fabric arrives at our office, properly labeled and identified. 
  • Wood Tailors Club is not responsible for production delays or issues resulting from improperly labeled fabrics sent by the client. 
  • For custom specifications or large quantity orders,  Wood Tailors Club reserves the right to negotiate lead times with the client.

STORAGE FEES

Orders subject to storage fees will not be released until both the fees and the remaining balance are fully paid.

CONTRACT ORDERS

 Wood Tailors Club offers customization services to meet the specific needs of your project. These orders require special pricing based on quantity and specifications. Please contact  Wood Tailors Club’s Account Team for contract quotes.

WARRANTY POLICY

  • Wood Tailors Club provides a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects and a 1-year limited warranty for materials such as leather, fabrics, varnishes, and patinas. 
  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes damage resulting from improper maintenance, cleaning, humidity exposure, or other external factors. 
  • Wood Tailors Club does not warrant changes in surface finishes due to exposure to light, damage from sharp objects, writing instrument imprints, or prolonged exposure to humidity.
  • We do not guarantee finishes against fading or oxidizing over time. Natural variations in color, finish, and metal veining are considered part of the material’s authentic beauty.
  • Upon confirmation of a defect,  Wood Tailors Club will replace or repair the defective part or entire piece within a timeframe agreed upon with the client.
  • Packing and shipping costs associated with warranty claims are not covered under this warranty. The original purchase receipt must be retained to obtain warranty service.

Failure to adhere to these requirements will result in the forfeiture of the right to submit a complaint. The buyer assumes responsibility for storing the goods under appropriate conditions for furniture and maintaining the condition of the goods during storage.
