Supervised by John Ambrose Fleming, the inspiration for Wood Tailors’ Fleming wall lamp, Harold Everard Monteagle Barlow was an electrical engineer best known for his career as a teacher. At the University College London, Barlow provided a remarkable teaching method that got the students’ attention from all over the world.

Honoring the incredible mind that mirrored Ambrose Fleming’s brilliance, Wood Tailors Club designers conceived the Barlow Coat Hunger. Strikingly handcrafted in natural oak finished with matte varnish, the Barlow Coat Hanger features a chenille weave-upholstered stool allowing the aesthetic to function.
